This month saw Rostrum launch the fifth iteration of Legal & General’s annual Bank of Mum and Dad report. A flagship campaign for the FTSE100 financial services giant, Rostrum has successfully created and delivered the research programme in partnership with Cebr since 2016 – generating consistently high volumes of media coverage and social media engagement. 

In 2020, we wanted to explore how the coronavirus outbreak has impacted the Bank of Mum and Dad, and how ‘lenders’ are helping their loved ones in a post-pandemic world.   

With the research revealing that BoMaD is due to be a driving force behind the recovery of Britain’s housing market, the national media coverage we achieved was widespread – The GuardianThe Telegraph, The Independent and The Mail Online all covered the findings. The research was also the topic for debate on BBC Radio 4’s You & Yours call-in show, with Legal & General’s CEO Nigel Wilson interviewed to share his thoughts.  

In addition to delivering the research programme and media outreach for Legal & General, Rostrum also produced a range of creative assets, including a whitepaper, infographic and interactive map.
