Cleary Gottlieb: digital storytelling

Leading international law firm Cleary Gottlieb’s London office is working with Rostrum to produce creative and engaging digital content and thought leadership.

Our brief is to showcase the firm’s extensive expertise at a sector, practice and regional level, working with Cleary Gottlieb’s internal teams to identify key topics driving client decision-making and producing compelling content that the firm’s target audiences want to read and engage with.

At the heart of the strategy is a dedicated content hub built for Cleary Gottlieb in Shorthand (the digital publishing platform used by the BBC, FT and Guardian). Rostrum uses Shorthand to bring Cleary Gottlieb’s client-facing content to life in the form of ‘digital stories’.

We write and design the content for the Cleary Gottlieb content hub, ensuring each of the firm’s different practice areas and specialisms benefits from its own distinct style and art direction while remaining within the firm’s overall brand guidelines. Each thought leadership campaign we produce has its own Shorthand story, with certain sections of high-value content gated to support the firm with business development and lead generation.

Rostrum also produces a ‘wrap’ series of topical articles and longer insight pieces exploring key themes, ranging from private equity investment in healthcare to arbitration in the Oil & Gas sector, as well as business development collaterals such as PowerPoint decks.
