Rostrum has launched Episode 4 of Managing Reputational Risk – the podcast that explores crisis communications and reputation management.

The podcast is hosted by Rostrum’s in-house trainer and crisis lead, Grant Bather.

In episode four, Grant and his guests discuss the impact of ‘The Great Resignation’ and how businesses of all sizes can find, nurture and retain talent.

Grant is joined by Adam Gordon and Noelle Murphy to discuss the topic of staff hiring and retention. Adam is co-founder and CEO at Candidate.ID, a marketing automation SaaS platform for HR teams at employers such as IBM and Microsoft.

Noelle is a senior HR practitioner at XpertHR. XpertHR is an online source of legal compliance, good practice and benchmarking information made available to HR professionals.

During the podcast Noelle, Adam and Grant discuss the changing dynamics of the workforce, the impact of hybrid working and the importance of company culture.

This series of podcasts, released monthly, will explore what a crisis is, look at ways to navigate a media storm, and identify the steps that organisations can take to ensure that they are on the front foot should a crisis strike. It also examines news event themes, such as the great resignation, and looks at ways that businesses, and individuals, can mitigate, measure and monitor reputational events that could impact them.

Future episodes of the podcast include:

  • The importance of having a team of media trained spokespeople
  • Reputation management measurement
  • Managing social media during a crisis
  • The additional reputational risks for listed businesses
  • Building a ‘reputation team’
