The latest episode of Managing Reputational Risk, the Rostrum Agency podcast, has landed.

The podcast is hosted by Rostrum’s in-house trainer and crisis lead, Grant Bather. Each episode examines what constitutes a crisis, and discusses steps that organisations and individuals can take to mitigate, minimise, measure and mould their exposure to negative reputational issues and events.

In episode five, Grant and his guest, Fiona Moore from ECI Partners, discuss the importance of media monitoring and measurement to ensure a clear, defined approach to proactive media engagement.

During the podcast Fiona and Grant discuss how organisations large and small can take steps to track and score their media engagement to ensure that they are meeting the needs of the organisation and ticking off the key messages that the business wants to promote. They also discuss the tools that organisations can use to ‘score’ their coverage and media opportunities and give pointers on how companies can build their own scoring system.

This monthly series of podcasts seeks to examine all angles and facets of a reputational crisis, including ways to navigate a media storm – and come out stronger – and guidance on steps that organisations can take to mitigate their exposure to negative reputational issues. It provides real life examples, examines news agenda themes and invites guests from a variety of sectors and disciplines to give their own take on what a crisis is – and how they would manage a reputational issue. Previous guests have included experts from the fields of HR, recruitment, politics, AI and analytics, and PR.
