Each month, Rostrum celebrates the team’s hard work with our friendly ‘Hit of the Month’ and ‘Bit of the Month’ competitions. Everyone gets the chance to showcase the pieces of work and activity that they are most proud of from the month, as well as share best practice and useful insights among the team. Finally, winners are announced for each category based on how well the outputs meet the needs and briefs of our clients.

Hit of the Month winner: The Telegraph coverage for Legal & General Mortgage Club

October’s Hit of The Month was awarded to our Legal & General Mortgage Club account team who secured coverage in The Telegraph covering The Club’s research into the average time homebuyers are taking to complete on property purchases in the current climate.

The research revealed that those wishing to take advantage of the Stamp Duty holiday would need to begin their property search by 1st November to avoid missing out, and is a great example of how timely data analysis can be used to high-jack current issues in the news agenda. The article focused exclusively on the research findings, reinforced the client’s key messages, and targeted their core audience.

The data-led story was published by a total of nine national publications, resulting in 16 national hits and a total of 54 additional consumer, regional and trade mentions.

Well done, team!

Bit of the Month Winner:  Social media audit for EY

October’s Bit of the Month award went to the EY social team for their work on an in-depth social media audit.

Carrying out a ‘deep-dive’ into 18 leaders in EY’s tax practice, the team audited Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and SEO on Google in order to measure the level of optimisation of each profile, and provide bespoke guidance on how they could be improved.

It was a fantastically detailed piece of work, and the client was extremely complimentary of it – great job!

Congratulations to all our winners!
