AI visibility audit

Type your website. We do the rest: free, in about 15 seconds.

See how often AI assistants name your firm when buyers ask for advice, who they name instead, what they say about each, and where they get it from.

  • Free. Every website gets a free read: how AI sees your site, what AI models know about you before they search, and what to fix.
  • The full audit, done for you. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude asked every question, plus your Google rank from your buyers' city; then who they name, what they say, and what to do first. For the firms Rostrum works with: confirm your work email and the report comes to your inbox.
  • Private. We never share your email.

Your AI site check

Save your website on the first screen and the check runs here.

The questions your buyers ask

Rewrite any that a real client would not say. Keep them the same every quarter, or the numbers stop being comparable.

Fill in your firm first, and the questions are drafted here.

Which assistants?

Fill in your firm first, and your questions appear here to ask.

How often each firm is named

Record some answers and the results appear here.

Where the answers come from

The sites the assistants cite when your buyers ask. The independent ones that name your competitors and not you are where to start.

The full audit fills this in from every answer. Asking by hand, the links in the answers you paste collect here.

Keep it, and share it

Your audit stays in this browser, and the link in your email opens it anywhere. Take it away as a report for the board, or as a spreadsheet of every answer.

Rather we ran it for you?

We run this audit for clients across many more questions and repeated runs, then put it to work: the coverage, content and sources that change what AI assistants say about you.

Privacy notice: the AI visibility audit

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This notice explains what the AI visibility audit collects, why, who sees it and how long we keep it. It adds to our main privacy notice, which still applies.

1. Who we are

The tool is run by Rostrum Agency Limited (England and Wales, company no. 12794282), 10 Stukeley Street, London WC2B 5LQ. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

Our Data Protection Officer is Michael Kahn: gdpr@rostrum.agency, or by post at the address above, or on 020 3404 7700.

2. What the tool does, in short

  • The free check. You type a website address. We read that website's public pages and judge them the way an AI assistant would. You do not need to give us any personal details for this.
  • The full audit. For firms in the sectors and countries we work in, we ask several AI assistants and Google a set of buyer questions about the firm, and report who they name. It starts only after you confirm a work email address at that firm.
  • Reports by email. The free check's PDF, and the full audit, need a work email address at the firm, confirmed with a six-digit code or a link we email to you.
  • We may contact you about our services. When you give us your work email, we may use it to get in touch about your results and about how Rostrum could help your firm: in other words, for sales. You can tell us to stop at any time (see section 8).

3. What we collect

When you use the free check (no email needed)

  • The website address you type, and what we read on that website's public pages.
  • Your IP address, used briefly to stop abuse (too many requests) and to tell which country you are in. The country is looked up in a database on our own server; your address is not sent to anyone for this.
  • To limit free lookups to ten per person, we keep a record made from: a random identifier your browser keeps (in a cookie called rv_id and in its storage), a summary of your device's settings (such as screen size, time zone and languages), and your network address range. We never store these as they are: each is turned into a one-way coded value that cannot be turned back into your identifier, device or address.

When you give us your email (the full audit, or the free check's PDF)

  • Your work email address, and the firm and website it is for.
  • Whether you confirmed it, and when.
  • For the full audit: what you filled in (your firm, what it does, where, who its buyers are, its competitors and the questions), the answers the AI assistants and Google gave, and our analysis of them.
  • If a colleague at the same firm asks for the same audit within seven days, their work email address too: we send them the audit already made rather than run it again.

In your own browser

The tool keeps your work in progress (your firm's details, questions, answers and the link to your report) in your browser's own storage, so it is still there if you come back. It stays on your device until you clear it, or use "Start again" in the tool. It also remembers whether you turned the tool's sound off.

We do not ask for your name, phone number or any payment details.

4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

WhatWhyLawful basis
The website you type and what we read on itTo give you the check you asked forLegitimate interests: providing the free tool you chose to use
Your IP address and the coded lookup recordTo keep the tool fair and stop abuseLegitimate interests: security and fair use
Your work email and the auditTo verify you are at the firm, run the audit you asked for and send you your reportTaking steps at your request; legitimate interests
Your work email, firm and website as a business contactSo our team can contact you about your results and about Rostrum's services, including sales emailsLegitimate interests: business development with firms that asked for a check or an audit. Every such email lets you opt out, and you can object at any time (see section 8)

Automated decisions. An automated check decides whether your firm gets the full audit or the free check, based on what your website says about your sector and location. It does not decide anything with legal or similarly significant effects for you. If you think it got your firm wrong, email us and a person will look at it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data or share it with other companies for their own use. We use these service providers, who act on our instructions:

  • Hosting: our server is in a data centre in Germany.
  • Email: the codes and reports are sent through Google's email service.
  • AI and search services: to run the check and the audit we use AI and search services. They receive the website address, the firm's name, the questions and public text from the firm's website. They never receive your email address or anything about you.

Where any of this leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on the safeguards described in our main privacy notice.

Inside Rostrum, the team who run the tool and our new business team, who may contact you about our services, see your email, your firm and your results.

Our web server's access logs (which include IP addresses)14 days
The rv_id cookie in your browser1 year, or until you delete it
The work in progress in your browserUntil you clear it or use "Start again"

7. Cookies and similar technology

The tool sets one cookie, rv_id, and uses your browser's storage, as described in section 3. We use them only to provide the tool and to stop abuse, not for advertising.

The rest of our website uses cookies as described in our main privacy notice, and asks for your permission where the law requires it. Our website analytics do not record what you type into the tool: its contents are hidden from them.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • stop or limit using it;
  • send it to you in a common format.

You can also object to us using your details to contact you about our services (sales), at any time, and we will stop. Just reply to any email from us saying so, or write to gdpr@rostrum.agency. We reply within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put it right first.

9. Children

The tool is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

If we change how the tool uses personal data, we will update this notice and the date at the top.

Terms of use: the AI visibility audit

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms apply when you use the AI visibility audit at rostrum.agency/ai-visibility-audit (the tool). By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the tool. How we handle personal data is in the tool's privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.

1. Who we are

The tool is provided by Rostrum Agency Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 12794282), 10 Stukeley Street, London WC2B 5LQ ("Rostrum", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@rostrum.agency.

2. Who the tool is for

The tool is for businesses and the people who work for them. By using it you confirm that you are 18 or over and that you are using it for business purposes. If you use it on behalf of a firm, you confirm that you are allowed to act for that firm.

3. What the tool does

  • The free check. Anyone may enter a website address. We read the site's public pages and tell you how an AI assistant is likely to read it, with suggested fixes.
  • The full audit. For firms in the sectors and countries we work in, we put a set of buyer questions to several AI assistants and to Google and report what they say. Which version a firm gets is decided by an automated check of its website, and it is ours to decide. The full audit runs only after you confirm a work email address at the firm being audited, and it is for that firm's own use.
  • Reports. You may receive a PDF report, a spreadsheet of answers and emails about your results.

The tool is free. We may change what it does, limit how much each person, network or firm can use it, or pause or withdraw it, at any time and without notice.

4. Using the tool fairly

You agree not to:

  • give an email address that is not yours, or ask for a full audit of a firm you do not work for or are not authorised to act for;
  • get round the tool's limits, for example by clearing your browser, switching networks or using several email addresses to obtain more free lookups or audits;
  • use any automated means (scripts, bots, scrapers) to use, copy or overload the tool, or to collect its results in bulk;
  • try to work out how the tool works by probing it, or copy its questions, scoring, design or reports to build a competing product or service;
  • interfere with the tool's security or with anyone else's use of it;
  • use the tool, or anything it produces, for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful, or to harass or defame anyone.

We may refuse, limit or stop anyone's use of the tool, and delete what it produced for them, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

5. What the results are, and are not

  • They are estimates. AI assistants change what they say from day to day and from person to person. Every result is a snapshot of the answers we received when we asked, from the place we asked from. Asked again, the same assistant may answer differently.
  • They are produced with the help of AI. Scores, summaries, suggested fixes and the reading of each answer are produced partly by automated and AI systems. They can be incomplete or wrong.
  • What the assistants say is theirs, not ours. We report the answers that third-party AI assistants and search engines gave. We do not write them, check every statement in them or endorse them, and they do not represent Rostrum's view of any firm.
  • They are not advice. Nothing the tool produces is legal, financial, regulatory or professional advice, and it is no promise of any result from acting on it. Check any change against your own circumstances and obligations (for example your regulator's rules on what you may say about your firm) before you make it.

6. Your reports and our tool

  • Your reports. You may use the reports, spreadsheets and suggested fixes we give you for your own firm's purposes, and share them inside your firm and with your advisers. If you quote results publicly, please say they come from Rostrum's AI visibility audit and give the date, and do not present them as Rostrum's endorsement of you or criticism of anyone else.
  • Our tool. The tool, its questions, scoring, method, design, software, text and the layout of its reports belong to Rostrum or its licensors. Apart from the use above, you may not copy, sell, license or build on them without our written permission.
  • Your website. Your website's content stays yours. You allow us to read its public pages and use what we find to provide the tool to you and to anyone else who checks your site.
  • What we learn. We may use the results the tool produces, without anything that identifies a person, to improve the tool and to publish aggregated findings about AI visibility (for example, how often AI assistants name firms in a sector). We will not publish a named firm's individual results without that firm's permission.
  • Names of other services. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google and the names of other services the tool reports on are trademarks of their owners. Rostrum is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
  • Ideas you send us. If you send us feedback or suggestions about the tool, we may use them freely.

7. Contacting you

When you give us your work email, we may contact you about your results and about Rostrum's services, as the privacy notice explains. You can tell us to stop at any time.

8. Our responsibility to you

  • The tool is provided free, as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that its results will be accurate, complete or suitable for any purpose.
  • We are not responsible for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, contracts or data, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of the tool or from relying on its results.
  • Our total liability to you for anything to do with the tool is limited to £100.
  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
  • If you break these terms, you are responsible for the losses that this causes us.

9. Other websites

The tool and its reports link to other websites, including the pages AI assistants cited. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in force when you use the tool applies to that use.

11. General

  • If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
  • Only you and Rostrum have rights under these terms.
  • These terms, and any dispute about them or the tool, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms: hello@rostrum.agency, or by post to Rostrum Agency Limited, 10 Stukeley Street, London WC2B 5LQ. Questions about your personal data: gdpr@rostrum.agency.
