Rostrum puts a lot of time and effort into developing our employees

This commitment to the team starts with a comprehensive induction programme for all new joiners, including a dedicated mentor who will help new employees find their feet when they start, and for regular catch-ups and reviews to ensure their PR career continues to progress.

We’ve also committed to investing a generous annual training budget for every employee. This consists of a mixture of internal and third party training, including classes sponsored by the CIPR, the PRCA, the CIM and others. We conduct six-month and yearly appraisals for all staff, and use these reviews to create SMART developmental goals that enable every member of the team to pursue his or her specific career ambitions.

Internships

We think PR should be accessible to all – and at Rostrum, we think people who work should get paid. That’s why we offer paid internships throughout the year, usually lasting between two to four weeks. Don’t expect to be photocopying or making tea though. From day one, you’ll roll up your sleeves and get to work on actual projects with real deadlines.

In return you’ll be paid above the minimum wage and gain valuable skills that you won’t get from your course notes.
