Profile

Hollie Coote leads the design function at Rostrum, shaping the visual identity of campaigns, content and brand work across the agency's financial and professional services clients. Her remit covers everything from brand systems and report design to digital assets, social creative and the look and feel of integrated campaigns, ensuring every piece of output is on-brief, on-brand and built to perform.

Hollie trained at the University for the Creative Arts, where she developed the foundations of a craft she has continued to refine in commercial practice. Her approach combines a strong editorial sensibility with a practical understanding of how design supports communications outcomes, whether that is making a thought leadership report genuinely readable, giving a campaign a distinctive visual hook, or translating a complex proposition into something a target audience will stop and engage with.

Within the agency she works closely with account teams, content specialists and clients from initial concept through to final artwork, often acting as the bridge between strategic intent and creative execution. She has contributed to brand refreshes, pitch materials, event identities, social-first campaigns and long-form publications, applying the same level of rigour to a single asset as to a full visual system. Colleagues rely on her for considered art direction and for keeping a consistent quality bar across multiple workstreams.

Hollie has a particular interest in how design can lift sectors that are often visually conservative, helping financial and professional services brands look more confident, more human and more current without losing credibility. She pays close attention to typography, layout and motion, and is as comfortable working in established brand guidelines as she is helping to build new ones from the ground up.

She brings a calm, methodical perspective to creative problems, treating design as a tool for clarity as much as for impact.
