Profile
Megan Linehan is an Account Director in Rostrum's social media team, leading integrated social strategies for clients across financial and professional services. Her remit spans organic content, paid social, influencer partnerships and community management, with a focus on translating complex propositions into platform-native creative that earns attention from the right audiences.
Megan began her career in public relations at FanclubPR in Dublin, where she developed an early grounding in earned media, storytelling and the rhythms of working with journalists. That PR foundation continues to shape how she approaches social: every campaign is built on a clear narrative, with channels chosen to amplify ideas rather than chase formats for their own sake. The blend of editorial instinct and digital fluency has become a defining feature of her work.
Since moving into social media full-time, Megan has built out programmes for B2B and B2C brands, advising senior leaders on personal branding on LinkedIn, structuring always-on content calendars, and running paid campaigns that connect audience insight to measurable business outcomes. She is particularly interested in how organisations can use social as a credibility engine, not just a broadcast channel, and in the growing role of executive voices in shaping corporate reputation.
A graduate of Dublin City University, where she read Communication Studies, Megan brings academic rigour to creative work. She is comfortable interrogating data and analytics, but equally focused on the human side of social: tone, timing, and the small editorial choices that separate scrollable content from work that lands.
At Rostrum, she partners closely with the PR, content and strategy teams to make sure social is connected to the wider communications picture rather than running in isolation. She is interested in where social platforms head next, particularly the shift toward private communities, creator-led B2B content, and the rising influence of video in financial services marketing.
