Let’s look back at another busy month at Rostrum HQ! In March, our team secured fantastic national coverage for our clients, delivered leading creative work and celebrated new hires – to name a few highlights. Read a few of March’s highlight below.

Coverage

The CapitalRise account team secured a place for CEO Uma Rajah’s top ISA tips in City AM, both print and online. It’s a great success for the team as ISAs are such a competitive topic in the run-up to the end of the tax year (called ‘ISA season’).

The team on MHR ran a sell-in off the back of the client sponsoring a rower on his Atlantic crossing. Andrew Osborne raised money for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) in memory of his daughter, Amy, as he rowed across the ocean. The sell-in resulted in nearly 260 pieces of coverage including national, regional, trade and broadcast coverage. We’re so pleased to have had a part in promoting Andrew’s incredible achievement – you can see some of the coverage of his story below:

The Oxford Economics account team secured a whole range of national (both US and UK) hits, including coverage in the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, with reactive commentary on Spring Budget Day.

The account team on MPowered Mortgages secured a full-page piece in Moneyfacts Magazine looking at the influence of stress rates on the mortgage market after a successful briefing for the CEO, Stuart Cheetham.

Leading work

During a face-to-face strategy meeting with The Exeter at the start of March, the team received some excellent feedback on last year’s Health and Financial Fears Report which we created for them. The report is now forming the basis of an ongoing campaign for The Exeter, with the intention of generating a steady stream of ongoing content which aims to rival the annual reports released by competitors.

The CapitalRise account team had a very successful Q1 too, generating coverage across the Daily Express, City AM, and Property Week. During a recent strategy meeting, the CEO said this has been their ‘best ISA season ever’ for press coverage!

Events

Rostrum’s Director of PR and Strategy, Sophie Placido, spoke at the Mortgage Solutions British Specialist Lending Senate and discussed how lenders can utilise TikTok to reach their target market. You can find further details on the event and Sophie’s thoughts here:

The panel session, which was chaired by Will Evans, Director at Arrowpoint Advisory featured Tim Phillips, Managing Partner at Gate One, Michelle Harrison, Global CEO at Kantar Public, Nicola Stopps, CEO at Simply Sustainable and Simon Walker, COO and Co-Founder at Kubrick Group sharing their views and perspectives on the sector.
