Social events have always been a key part of life at Rostrum. Our agency socials, big and small, give the team time to bond and have fun outside of the office environment. However, as the business has grown, it’s become harder to find activities and venues that suit 30 people – and not everyone wants to do the same things! So this year, we decided to do something a little bit different by launching a new Socials Calendar.
Our Socials Group has organised a range of events spread across the next twelve months, with more than 30 socials ranging from Kobox classes, museum visits and open-air cinema to the Harry Potter Studio Tour, Thorpe Park Fright Nights, and even Justin Timberlake at the O2. We’ve really tried to find something for everyone.
The objective was to give each member of the team control over their own socials diary for the year. With the option to sign up to eight events, everyone now has the chance to attend the socials that interest them. Plus, it ensures that Rostrum always has exciting things happening.
We are conscious that we also want the team to spend time together as one group, so we’ve also committed to holding three ‘whole company’ events throughout the year – Agency Day, the Summer Party and the Christmas Party.
Having a good work-life balance is vital, and we’re committed to providing a fun environment for the team, both inside and outside of the office.
We’ll be posting regular updates on how the socials are going – the first group are heading off to Polo in the Park on Friday, so keep your eye on our social accounts to see what the Rostrum team is up to!
